Establishing our home base for the Kingdom in the far northeast. 

why we are doing this.

From the beginning of Cross Culture Church, we had the vision to be a church of great neighbors from every nation and generation. 

In five short years, we’ve held over 260 worship services and 30+ community-wide events. We’ve provided hundreds of meals and necessities to the underserved and homeless in our communities. Over the last five years, we’ve had over 1,000 people visitCross Culture. For many of them, it was the first time they ever attended a church service, and over 300 people made a life-changing commitment to Jesus! It’s been a wild ride, and we’re not stopping! 

Our next five years will outshine our first five years. 

We are going to see more discipleship, more outreach, more worship, more people taking their next step with Jesus, and more changed lives! 

There are 650,000 people within a 10-mile radius of our future home base who have not experienced the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to reach the lost and teach people what it means to be a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and experience the abundant life now. 

2021

what we are doing. 

For the past five years, we have been visitors in a community with zero church buildings in Green Valley Ranch. We have rented key school locations from Martin Luther King Jr Early College to the Regis Groff High School campus. When Covid hit we were informed we were truly visitors in the community because both schools would not allow us to meet. We were without a home base to train disciples from every nation and generation to be great neighbors who display and declare the good news of Jesus Christ. We knew even then we needed to take home-field advantage in establishing a home base for the Kingdom. 

In February 2021 God opened the door for us to take home-field advantage. 

Through years of fasting, prayer, and our partnership with the Solomon Foundation, a Kingdom-minded Church Development Fund, we were able to go under contract on February 22, 2021. 

Throughout the past year, God has not only sustained us but grown us through our Life Groups and Online ministry. Now is the time for us to establish a home base to reach and make faithful disciples. We are putting a stake in the ground for the Kingdom. We are bringing hope, not just as visitors, but now as the Home Team. 

what this will cost.

The total cost of the building, renovations, and furnishing is 3.1 million dollars. In order to close on the building on May 3rd, our goal is to raise $125,000 in cash—this will be for the deposit to secure the Solomon loan. We have the opportunity to begin initial renovations as soon as we close for a Cross Culture kids/youth space, a multi-purpose facility, and a worship center that seats 250. In order to do this, we are aiming to raise an additional $250,000 over a 2-year commitment. 

The 2 year “Homefield Advantage” campaign is a call to give generously and sacrificially towards what God is doing here ABOVE and BEYOND your regular giving/tithing. This is a great opportunity to start tithing and giving if you are not. We are asking everyone to prayerfully consider making a commitment to this campaign. 

All commitment cards can be filled out at the Vision Nights in person(April 18th/21st) or online (April 25th). All online commitment cards can be found at at www.greatneighbors.net/commitment. The cards will include the upfront gift, which will secure the deposit, and then a 2-year commitment to help pay for the renovations.
